The European title was decided at Wackersdorf. Riley was off the pace in dry testing. Then it rained for qualifying, and he took pole by around four tenths. Back in the dry, he won every heat and the final.

A factory team chose him.

Sodi picked Riley to race for its factory team at the 2024 FIA World Karting Championship, in OK Junior. He had never raced the class. He qualified third in his group and started the final eighth out of more than one hundred drivers.

“Very impressed with his adaptation to a new kart and class, and how he handles himself.”

Ginetta Junior

First race in a car. First win.

Riley won his very first car race in November 2025. In his first full season he was the quickest qualifier in the field and the strongest points scorer of the second half, finishing with a win from tenth on the grid at Brands Hatch.

The story

It started with a rope in a car park.

Riley got his first kart just before his fourth birthday. His dad tied a rope to the bumper and ran him around a car park. At four he raced for the first time: last on the grid, last at the flag, smiling all the way home. At five, he won. Always the tallest in his class, in a sport where size costs lap time, he never stopped winning.

The work

Nobody on the grid works harder.

Talent got Riley to the front. Work keeps him there. Every session is reviewed in the data, every circuit learned on the simulator before he arrives, and his training is planned like a professional's. He does it alongside school, and still finds time to coach younger karting drivers.

The driver

Motivated. Professional. Confident.

  • Braking and racecraft, his two strengths and where he wins races.
  • Pace in the wet, including pole by four tenths on the weekend that decided a European title.
  • Always learning, with set-up work at every race weekend and on the simulator.
  • Technical and keen to understand the car.
  • At ease in public, on camera, with guests and in front of a room.

Inspired by Niki Lauda and Lewis Hamilton. Away from the track Riley enjoys football, golf, padel and the gym.

In their words
“One of the fastest drivers we have ever had.”
